Bank NXT, a leading provider of integrated retail and corporate solutions in Egypt, announced today its participation in the International Day of People with Disabilities under the supervision of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). This initiative, running from 1-15 December, aligns with the nationwide strategy to bolster financial inclusion and the presidential initiative “Bedaya”. Bank NXT’s participation in this initiative aims to expand accessibility to banking services for people with disabilities and promote innovative financial solutions tailored to their needs.
As part of this initiative, Bank NXT participated in activities at the Horreya Sports Club for People with Disabilities in Port Said, attended by CBE representatives from the financial inclusion department and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Bank NXT donated wheelchairs to the club members as part of the initiative.
Bank NXT also successfully organized awareness sessions at October University for Modern Sciences & Arts (MSA), emphasizing the importance of financial services tailored banking products for youth.
Bank NXT offered a range of products and services during these initiatives. This includes free savings accounts with no fees or minimum balance requirements for customers aged 15 and above. The bank also offered complimentary issuances of Meeza prepaid cards and debit cards. Financial literacy workshops were additionally available to the youth.

Bank NXT has fully equipped all new branches to serve customers with disabilities. This commitment aligns with its ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusivity and accessibility for all. Currently, 10% of the bank’s existing branches have already been successfully equipped to serve its customers. Furthermore, Bank NXT has installed 60 ATMs across the country that have been equipped to accommodate individuals with mobility impairments. The bank has successfully implemented inclusive banking solutions, including Braille-enabled debit and prepaid cards, instructional videos with large, clear text, and account opening and banking brochures in Braille.
