EFG Hermes concludes advisory to owners of Native Markets on partnership with Intro Investments Holdings
EFG Hermes, a leading financial services corporation in the Middle East and North Africa, has recently concluded the advisory on the partnership between Intro Investments Holding Ltd. and Native Markets Ltd. Native Markets operates leading F&B concepts including the first premium bakery and pastry producer TBS, TBS Express, The Four Fat Ladies, Delicious Bakery as well as Patties Burgers. Native Markets controls over 40 retail outlets across its portfolio of brands, and is vertically integrated through a centralized production facility that supports its retail presence. Intro Investments Holding is a financial investor who has a wealth of experience in partnering up with various companies in Egypt and the MENA region with the goal of enhancing operations and maximizing shareholder value. The partnership will see Native Markets accelerate its growth plans, in terms of both store rollout and manufacturing capability. Both parties are keen to capitalize on the new partnership to further develop Native Markets’ position as a leading local F&B retailer and producer.  “EFG Hermes is proud to have facilitated this partnership, which will allow for further strong growth and institutionalization of a leading home-grown concept built up by Egyptian entrepreneurs,” said EFG Hermes Co-Head of Investment Banking Mostafa Gad. “This transaction complements a very successful year that saw EFG Hermes investment banking Division close ten high-profile transactions with an aggregate value in excess of USD 870 million in the first half of 2017.”  EFG Hermes was sole financial advisor for the shareholders of Native Markets on the transaction; Al Tamimi Law Office acted as legal advisor.
