Funded by EFG Hermes Foundation, ADEW organizes Mobile Health Caravan in Old Cairo
Under the framework of the health program developed by the Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women (ADEW) and through a donation by the EFG Hermes Foundation, a non-profit initiative launched EFG Hermes, the organization will be sending a mobile health caravan to the Fustat Youth Center in Old Cairo on Tuesday, September 11. The caravan is comprised of medical specialists from various fields, including dermatologists, gastrointestinal, pediatricians, gynecologists and family planning. The caravan will begin its activity at 10:00 am – the specialists on board will then begin providing free medical check-ups to up to 500 Fustat residents. 'The Egyptian family will not develop until its health condition improves, which is why we are keen on providing health opportunities not only for women but for men and children as well,' says Iman Bebars, Chairperson of the Organization. 'As such the organization developed its health initiative through the cooperation with the public and private sector.' 'The Foundation is interested in supporting medical convoys as they provide medical assistance to a large number of people and they facilitate the process of healthcare to the residents as the services come to them,' says Hanaa Helmy, CEO of the EFG Hermes Foundation.
