Dubai Cares

As part of our community activities, EFG Hermes donated a day of brokerage commissions in support of a Sheikh Mohamed charitable initiative, Dubai Cares. The initiative is aimed at bringing the multicultural community of Dubai together to raise awareness and funds for the provision of children's primary education in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Dubai Cares has raised a total of AED3.4 billion, and EFG Hermes is pleased to be involved in this programme

EFG Hermes has announced the launch of its fund with HSBC

The fund is a 3 years capital protected fund that will give a minimum of 60% participation in the CASE or MSCI Egypt index. It is the first fund in Egypt that protects the capital and guarantees a participation rate on the upside. The fund is ideal for those who intend to keep their investment in the market for the 3 years. Typically during the life of the fund, the participation is less, therefore, investors should be willing to stay the whole term. The subscription for the fund will start after 15 days and will be open for a minimum of 2 weeks and a max of 2 months. The fund is closed for subscription after the subscription period but is open for redemption on weekly basis after the first 6 months.
